Version 105.0, first offered to Release channel users on September 20, 2022 Fixed: Stability on Windows is significantly improved as Firefox handles low-memory situations much better. Touchpad scrolling on macOS was made more accessible by reducing unintended diagonal scrolling opposite of the intended scroll axis. Firefox is less likely to run out of memory on Linux and performs more efficiently for the rest of the system when memory runs low. Various security fixes. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/105.0/releasenotes/

Malwarebytes 5 Antiransomware protection?
sten2 replied to sten2's topic in Malwarebytes 5 for Windows
Sounds good! 🙂I look forward to see what features regarding ransomware protection it might include. -
I have running the Malwarebytes 5 for over a week without issues. So far i dont have experienced any issues. However,i have a question regarding the Malwarebytes 5 ransomware protection. When reading test scores comparing the current Malwarebytes ransomware protection,it has never been in top of the list during the tests for protection against ransomware against other vendors. Will the final product of Malwarebytes 5 have a sharper protection built in regarding protection against ransomware?

Ok,thank you for explaining. However, when using a VPN service, all users get the same ip adress. Just because someone has been reported for some sort of abuse,it does not means that all who is using that service has done something wrong. At the opposite,if anyone using Malwarebytes Privacy VPN has been reported for abuse in a database like such above mentioned, then you should also bee blocked in a firewall filter?

On both my Android and on my Windows 10 PC,accessing Malwarebytes forums is blocked while using Express VPN. It says"SpamFireWall is activated" for my ip,and i cant access Malwarebytes forums. When clicking the link below to pass the protection,it does not help. Now i tried a different country location, and i manage to access the forums. Can you please check this, and remove the false ip blocking, what ever causing it?

I have nothing to add to solve the issue it self, but regarding the questions regarding which Antivirus that is compatible with Malwarebytes besides Windows Defender, then i can tell that Zone Alarm Antivirus and Norton Antivirus is fully compatible with Malwarebytes using it at the same time without conflict. I earlier had Zone Alarm, but now have Norton, and it works without issues.Just make sure to add exclusions in both MB and the antivirus, and there will be no problem. https://support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038522974-Malwarebytes-for-Windows-antivirus-exclusions-list -
Updates not working normally
sten2 replied to sten2's topic in Malwarebytes for Windows Support Forum
Ok.Then i will go for manually updates. -
I experience exactly the same thing as the topic starter. Maybe this will be solved in the next version update?

Thanks. I dont know what that is associated with or if it´s false or not, however i saw that there was an update regarding the Firefox browser guard, and now i am running the 2.4.5 version, the latest released version.

When using Firefox with MB Browserguard,i sometimes get this warning while using stream services : sbthe.com Is it a false positive,or can it white listed? See attatchment.

I received the advice from customer support to give Firefox a tune up and clicking the refresh button. After that, i reinstalled MB Browser guard and Ublock origin, and now MB Browser guard shows detections blocking adds. It now shows block counts from Youtube and so on. I have testing it for som days now,and it appears that the issue is solved.

To make sure that there was no leftovers from these programs,i completly uninstalled my pc. Norton Antivirus kept going back all again, even though i uninstalled it with Revo pro uninstaller. After completly uninstalled my pc,i then only downloaded Malwarebytes and the Browser guard, not having Norton or AVG installed. When using Firefox browser the Malwarebytes Browser guard still dont show any counts of blocking. Now i dont know what to do,or why it refuses show detections.

Thanks for the advice.👍 If the customer support cant help me with my issue, then i will turn to AdvancedSetup. However,if the issue is caused by Mozilla/Firefox it self,i am not sure about how mouch he can help, but i will give it a try. From Mozilla one gets zero help if there is issues with Firefox. They only have a support forum, without no directly persons like an Administrator or somone like that in charge who can give constructive help, like we have on this Forum. The only help one gets there is from other users. However,i get back to AdvancedSetup if MB support cant help.

Porthos, thank you for the link.👍 I dont use Avast. I dont feel comfortable tampering with the register,so i created a ticket to the support regarding the matter,so lets see what they can do to help me with the issue. Gonzo, I think i find where the log files are for the Browser guard in Firefox, but like i said i, created a support ticket regarding the issue. However, thanks for trying to help.

I understand it should create a TXT file in the download folder. When doing the same task, clicking Download Debug Logs in the Browser Guard in Edge browser,it works. However not in the Firefox browser. My Firefox Browser also says "Your Browser Is Managed by Your Organization". That is not a good sign, but i dont know what causing it or how i should fix it.

I use Ublock origin and Malwarebytes Browser Guard, and has doing it for years in my Firefox browser. When surfing the internet and visit Youtube,Facebook or what ever site ,always has both MB Browser Guard and Ublock origin shown block counts for blocked trackers. After upgrading to MB Browser Guard 2.4.4, there is never any signs of blocked trackers at all. Why is it so? I uninstalled MB Browser Guard and reinstalled it again, and i gave it permission to work in private mode and enabled it to exchange messages to other programs than Firefox. Yet,MB Browser Guard shows no signs of blocking any trackers. Besides of that i have a Premium version of MB i can tell. Can anyone assist or knows the solution why MB Browser Guard does not shows any block counts/trackers?
