AdvancedSetup, You are right about that Never remember history setting is what disables the counting in Malwarebytes Browser Guard. I still have media.peerconnection.enabled set to false. I have these settings. -

Malwarebytes Browser Guard - issue in Firefox
sten2 replied to sten2's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
I have running the Firefox browser with just Malwarebytes Browserguard extension, and it had worked fine. Then i thought it was time to add som other extensions. I added Ublock origin and Express VPN addons. After that it still worked like it should,Malwarebytes Browserguard showing blocking counts and Ublock origin as well. Then i thought it was time to test it a little further. I did changes in the Firefox browser. All these changes can be brought back without uninstall Firefox. First i typed about:config and setting media.peerconnection.enabled false. Then i doing the basic stuff changes like changing the Enhanced Tracking Protection to strict, and to remove all history while closing Firefox. After that i closed the browser, and then Malwarebytes Browserguard does not show any blocking counts. Now everytime i open Firefox i first have to uninstall Malwarebytes browserguard, and then reinstall it again, and then it shows blocking counts in all sites. Why should i not not change the security settings or add other extensions to Firefox, after it appears to work perfectly again? -

Malwarebytes Browser Guard - issue in Firefox
sten2 replied to sten2's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
After closing the Firefox browser, and open it again it does not longer show any blocks from Malwarebytes Browserguard. I uninstalled the Express VPN add on,and closed the browser. Now when open it again and testing Youtube,Msn,Amazon and such,it does not longer show any blocking counts. If i uninstall Malwarebytes browserguard now and reinstall it,then it shows blocking counts again. The issue appears to be back again,i am afraid. Could it be a matter of how one set up the security settings in Firefox? Right now it is set as Delete cookies and site data and HISTORY - :Firefox will never remeber history.Firefox will use the same settings as private browsing, and will not remember any history as you browse the Web. -
Malwarebytes Browser Guard - issue in Firefox

Ok,i see! I have always declined every cookies from Youtube. Earlier this prompt never appeared back ago. I accepted, and then Malwarebytes showing blocking counts. I thought this step allowing cookies from Youtube was not good doing, thought that Ublock and Malwarebytes Browserguard should handle this, but i guess i was wrong. Now i have reinstalled all my ads ons:Express VPN,Ublock,Privacy badger,Decentreal eyes and now it appears to be working. Malwarebytes show blocking counts. Well, i think that was the little step that i overlooked, that one had to accept Youtubes cookies. For the moment,it now appears to work like it should. Thank you for assisting!😃 We could hold this topic open for a little while more so that i can testdrive it throrogly with my current settings. -

I reinstalled Ublock origin, and it shows blocking counts. Malwarebytes browserguard also shows blocking counts at for example msn.com. However,Malwarebytes browserguard does not show any blocking counts at Youtube like it use to do before, and when i visit Youtube this prompt appears(see attahcment). -

Express VPN had an ads on that has the features: stop HTML5 geolocation and blocks Web RTC leaks, nothing more. It has never interfered with MB Browserguard before. I am using Norton Antivirus, but i have their own Web Protection turned of,since it would otherwise interfer with MB Browserguard. I temporarily disabled Norton real-time protection and turned off the VPN,but it did not changed anything. I have made exclusions in both Norton for Malwarebytes and in Malwarebytes for Norton,so they should not interfer with eachother in anyway. -

Hello AdvancedSetup I understand that you cant promise that you can fix this issue, since it might have it have something to do with Firefox itself, but it is offocase worth a try! Here is the Zip log. mbst-grab-results.zip -

Malwarebytes Browser Guard - issue in Firefox
sten2 replied to sten2's topic in Resolved Malware Removal Logs
The issues i having with Malwarebytes browserguard in Firefox is that it does not show blocking detections at all. Everytime i open the browser i first must uninstall the browserguard, then reinstall it in order to have it to show blocking counts. And even doing so,it does not always shows blocking counts for Youtube and Amazon or some other sites like it should do. I have followed the supports directive by refreshing Firefox and so on,but it has not helpt. -

Then what are the purpose of having a customer service at all,if it not gives feedback? No,i dont think so. This issue goes deep, and i dont think average users could help with this issue. -
I have an open ticket with customer support since three weeks ago with problems with my Malwarebytes browserguard in Firefox. It goes very slowly with the the replies from customer support. Why is it going so slow with the support?
