  1. Thanks, Charlie. This was about the worst malware I ever had, annoyance-wise. There are a few lagging things - taskbar doesn't seem quite right, had to use an old backed up version of my bookmarks, but could be worse. I made a donation - thank you.

  3. Sure, here is a screen cap of my issue with the notification area menu. It shows mods left behind by the malware.
  4. P.S., the entries still show up in Control Panel > All Control Panel Items > Notification Area Icons. Could I ask what the easiest way to strike them from that area would be? System Restore... ...?
  5. Thank you, you brilliant folks for posting this info. This malware was particularly nasty for me. With your guidance, I was able to remove it and I am very grateful.
