  1. Is there any logs I can look at in malwarebytes to find out what file thats needed that I deleted and where it is now? Could there be a way of getting at the quarantine via the recovery console so I could maybe copy it back in to where it should be?
  2. Its my sisters pc and she doesn't have the windows cd that came with it so I'm using my own windows cd. I couldn't find any windows key code. I'll try that when I get home.
  3. its windows xp. i've no backups. i don't have a windows cd key. How do i even get into safe mode with networking? i don't think i can iftheres no system file.
  4. I wish I had never used malwarebytes. What a freaking disaster.
  5. I did a scan with malwarebytes anti malware and I deleted all the files it came up with. Now I can't boot into windows because I just get a black screen with 'Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt. \windows\system32\config\system Windows repair install won't work. I also can't get any system restore directory in the recovery console. Is there anyway I can restore the system file from malwarebytes quarantine via recovery console? Is there anything I can do to get the pc working again without losing all the files that were on it?
