  1. Actually, it's not ads - it's the comments section. Apparently (this is my supposition based on past Youtube behavior) somebody decided to "tweak" the way things display, and (this is known) there's Java code inside URLs now in there, which is what Noscript looks for for XSS attempts. The reason it loaded partway through the video is likely because you scrolled down, and the comments loaded - they don't load when you load the video, anymore - thus triggering NoScript's screeching. There's a thread in the NoScript forum about this, including the guy who writes it providing exception scripts to add to the exceptions in NoScript to make it shut up; some people are having additional issues with video loading it seems, but it appears that the XSS flag is a false positive.
  2. Don't have time for another full scan right now, but ran a quickscan after updating to .16 and it came up clean.
  3. Glad to hear this is a FP problem - was freaking out, especially as there had been the big Steam update downloaded earlier. Glad I checked the forums before clicking the nuke button! I have to admit I was suspicious when I saw CCleaner's installer flagged, which had been on my computer for months and never a blip... Anyway, here's the log from my scan, in case it helps y'all sort things out. 4. Thanks for the reply! I rebooted, wandered off for a little bit, then came back and Quick Scanned, and it scanned in 1:51. So it was the post-boot slowdown, not MBAM itself scanning too greedily and too deep. Thanks again, and keep up the good work!
  5. Hi there. I just got around to running MBAM for the first time in a week (long-time satisfied user, btw!), and after downloading the "it's been 10 days, update your database? yes" update, I ran a Quick Scan. I was curious, because always before when I've run QuickScan, it's run in about 2:15 tops, and the last two previous QuickScans were under 2:00. This time though, it took 4 minutes, 16 seconds to scan (with no significant additional number of files scanned). Is this normal? It might just have been because I had just booted up my computer when I ran it and it was still "starting up" this, that and the other I suppose?
