  1. Hi guys. Recently I scanned my computer and found a number of issues. I used TDDSKiller and found a bunch of registry key errors as well as the rootkit Rootkit.Boot.Pihar.C. I removed the process and all of the registry keys in safemode, rebooted and it has not come back. I then ran MalwareBytes after the removal and found "Trojan.Agent" on my SVCHOST.EXE file. I removed it and rescanned twice and it has not come back, but I just need to be sure that it is gone. Here is the recent MalwareBytes log from my last scan that came up clean, but I want to be assured that all is well and that there are no malicious programs or processes running in the background: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.65.0.1400 www.malwarebytes.org Database version: v2012.09.25.11 Windows 7 Service Pack 1 x64 NTFS Internet Explorer 8.0.7601.17514 Matthew :: MATTHEW-PC [administrator] 9/25/2012 3:14:35 PM mbam-log-2012-09-25 (15-14-35).txt Scan type: Full scan (C:\|D:\|) Scan options enabled: Memory | Startup | Registry | File System | Heuristics/Extra | Heuristics/Shuriken | PUP | PUM Scan options disabled: P2P Objects scanned: 282097 Time elapsed: 16 minute(s), 27 second(s) Memory Processes Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Memory Modules Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Keys Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Values Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Registry Data Items Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Folders Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) Files Detected: 0 (No malicious items detected) (end) DDS.txt Attach.txt
