  1. Before I go and do any more fiddling I would like some input. I was getting a repeated 'windows notification' sound and no matter what I did I could not stop it so I went to MS support and they fixed it but as it turn out their fix was to turn off Malwarebytes. Kind of annoying because I said to the guy "please tell me you did not just disable Malwarebytes" and he said no and it your system working. Of course upon a reboot I find that Malwarebytes is gone and it also impossible to reinstall, (Yeah I can fix that), but seriously does anything have a better solution?
  2. NewsHound: two day and the problem is clearly resolved! Many thanks for your suggestion! ISSUE IS RESOLVED!
  3. Okay Newshound your link sent me to a suggestion that Blocksite is the problem so I disabled it and so far so good. Hopefully this is the solution so many thanks regardless.
  4. I am not running 'yourblocksite' but I am running "Blocksite" and "Ublocksite". Could these be compromised? Thanks for the reply.
  5. Any time I perform an action with Chrome, (not Firefox), I get a Malwarebytes that the domain Adult.yourblocksite.com has been blocked. However I can not find the source of the riskware and Malwarebytes does not seem to find the problem in scans but there it is any time I do anything with Chrome. Has anyone come across this irritant?
  6. Messed this one up! I only recently upgraded to Win7 a little over a month ago and I had forgotten that the module takes some time after start up before loading. Consider this thread closed. Thanks.
  7. FYI: Same issue with Windows 7 Ultimate. Malwarebytes automatically updated to v1.65 and upon reboot the Protection Module no longer functions. T.
