  1. Okay. Thanks for all your help!
  2. I have to keep UAC off because during the day, I get live quotes through a DDE link.
  3. I'll find out tomorrow when I get back to work in earnest. This started as a Google Redirect Virus, which MBAM successfully removed once I figured out how to delete 8 GB in a Content.IE5 folder. After being virus-free for about two hours, my computer spontaneously shut down (not initiated by me!) and I believe that occurred shortly after getting the scvhost.exe "virus" (or whatever that was), which now has hopefully ended with the 29032. Any thoughts as to whether these two viruses were related or what I can do to prevent this sort of thing going forward?

  5. It did not come back. Should I restore perms on Run to just "Everyone" and change "Full Control" to "Read?"
  6. Before I proceed, the only thing showing up under "Group or user names" is "Everyone" (not Administrator). Can I assign Full Control to "Everyone?"
  7. In Safe Mode, I get the same error: "Unable to delete all specified values."
  8. TrendMicro Client/Server Security Agent. I have now disabled it but still cannot delete 29032. I'll try in Safe Mode.
  9. At the risk of posting out of order here... to give a bit more history, earlier this afternoon I had three infected files showing up in the MBAM scan. I tried to eradicate them all with MBAM three or so times but was unable. Here was the screenshot:
  10. That comes up empty (please see attached screenshot).
  11. Are the ~'s abbreviating the full path? I'm not sure where to find that file. When I search for "msvyocia.com" under Start, I only get the MBAM and ComboFix logs.
