  1. Hey Maniac. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I thought I fixed the problem when I restored my computer before the infection. I beleive I only became infected yesterday. I ran McAfee and it did not find anything this time. However, when reading a similar forum that Charlie helped someone with, I downloaded rougekiller and compared the report to the one in the other post. It looks like I still have the ZeroAccess infection. I have always beena believer of better safe than sorry. I am not opposed to reformating and reinstalling Windows. What do you think is the best course of action? If you think I should reinstall, can you provide me with those steps? Thanks.
  2. I am also having problems with McAfee and Malwarebytes detecting the ZeroAccess Desktop.ini trojan. Attached is my log from running Farbar Recovery Scan. Please advise as to how I can fix this problem. Thank you very much. FRST_23-07-2012_22-08-01.txt
