[Laptop straight out not working]

So my younger brother was using my laptop yesterday night for Netflix but he left it overnight. When I woke up this morning I found it still running so I restarted it (everything looked fine at the moment) but when it booted back up it looked like the image below. It's not supposed to look that way because I have the normal Windows 7 theme not the old one applied. So I tried fixing it in the control panel and a lot of things were disabled. Including System Restore, my internet (no wifi) audio and a couple other things. So it's like my laptop doesn't even work anymore. I tried following this persons thread because he had the same problem as I do I believe (His thread is found here http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=106397) but I followed it and everything and nothing changed. Can someone please help me fix my laptop? It would mean the world to me since I really need my laptop immediately. Thank you very much, and God Bless!
