As Porthos shows, this is not unique to MB5. And yes, some particular Startup objects are scanned in the Quick Scan even when that log entry says 'Startup: Disabled'. I'll see if I can get some clarification from the team.

Hello. This detection has been whitelisted on our side, but based on what I see in your detection log, your system may not be communicating with one of our back end servers to help alleviate that detection. You may want to add this path to your Allow List (Detection History > Allow List)

Hi @Otomatic thank you for your confirmation, and your original report!
-
@Otomatic we believe this issue may resolved as byproduct of fixing other similar issues, in our latest MBAM Beta, released last week.
Malwarebytes Version 4.6.8.311
Component package version 1.0.2242
Could you give it a try and let us know?- 1

@milsabords thanks for the logs. We'll take a look.

Can you run our MBST tool and provide those logs?
• Download the Malwarebytes Support Tool
• In your Downloads folder, open the mb-support-x.x.x.xxx.exe file
• In the User Account Control pop-up window, click Yes to continue the installation
• Run the MBST Support Tool
• In the left navigation pane of the Malwarebytes Support Tool, click Advanced
• In the Advanced Options, click Gather Logs. A status diagram displays the tool is Getting logs from your machine
• A zip file named mbst-grab-results.zip will be saved to your desktop, please upload that file on your next reply -

Hello Malwarebytes... Any fix yet?
Please don't say we have to go elsewhere as I really like the product. It's just that 4.6.7 has crippled performance of Windows command files and Winrar. This is fixed in the Beta we pushed on December 14.
Malwarebytes Version: 4.6.8.311
Component Version: 1.0.2235
It's scheduled for general availability release at the beginning of January.- 1

Thank you. After reviewing the crash dumps, the team doesn't see this crash as being caused by Malwarebytes.
The driver that crashed was gwdrv.sys which is a GlassWire driver.
The faulting process is librewolf.exe which is your browser process. There are many reports out there about BSOD from GlassWire.

Thank you. Can you provide some context regarding this BSOD? What actions were being performed on the system at the time?
-
Could you get us a Complete memory dump so can look into this issue further?
-
Check your C:\Windows directory for a "MEMORY.DMP" file
- You'll have to copy the file to the Desktop. Once on the Desktop, right-click > send to > Compressed (this will zip it and make the file smaller so its quicker to upload)
It looks like you should have one, based on the FRST log results.
Please use a service like www.wetransfer.com to upload your dump file(s) as they'll be too large to upload to the forum. Click the "3 dots" and you'll be given the option to get a link instead of entering an email address.

Great, glad to hear the updates are in sync on your MB5 @idd00jea
Thank you!

To others in this thread, the 'no updates available' issue didn't have anything to do with idle definition or usage. It was a back end delivery problem. We're investigating the root cause.

Your service log says your MB5 is current@miguelgrado looking more closely at the log you provided, I can see that by the time I asked you to enable debug logging, the database was already current.

@clayuk according to some other forum members, unregistering Malwarebytes from the Windows Security Center alleviates the issue. Would you try that as well, please?
