    FP: Proventia Desktop Protector "blackcat.sys" is not malware

    in File Detections

    Malwarebytes Team,

    I've ran a few scans lately with Malwarebytes v1.61, and the (2) items below are being detected as "Trojan.ServStart". I believe these are valid, non-malware files for Proventia Desktop Protector. I use this software for VPN access. I've attached the developer logfile. Can you please update MBAM?

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\black (Trojan.ServStart)

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\Blackcat.sys (Trojan.ServStart)
