  1. AFAIK, the Nintendo DS-i runs a proprietary operating system, so I doubt you can get infected.
  2. Adblock Plus takes care of that for me
  3. Happy birthday Kenny! And I am also seeing better stability with 5.0.415
  4. No problems, so it fixed nothing And most likely, the usual suspects will have a new exploit released: Adobe.
  5. I was a bit disappointed in the ads this year Most of them were unfunny or just stupid. However, the one exception is the Snickers ad.
  6. This is something interesting that happened to me today. Every first and third Saturday of the month, some people in Dallas have an event called the Sidewalk Sale (http://www.sidewalksale.com/). Here people buy and sell computer items. Most vendors get their items from OEM's or surpluses. One particular vendor was selling some software. Normally I wouldn't even care if someone was selling Dell Recovery disks, but a big red "M" caught my eye. Sure enough, in cheap-looking letters, said "Malwarebytes' Malware Remover". I wish I had a picture of it, but it was very obvious in its fakeness. I made a quick drawing in PDN of the basic elements of the design: The cover was most likely burned using Lightscribe and the actual disk said CD-R on the inside circle. (It is worth mentioning that this person was also selling copies of Filezilla, Ubuntu, Windows 7 RC, and various other utilities). As a conscious person, I asked the guy if the version he was selling was free or paid. He replied, "Yes it's free, but not here". Clearly this person isn't a reseller, but a full crook. My question to you guys is: Have you seen anything like this before?
  7. Here's some good info on Security Tool rogue: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-remo...e-security-tool
  8. I'm a little bit surprised that Avira did so poorly. Anyways, congratulations to the MBAM team
  9. I assume you want to play a DVD in a regular player (e.g.: one on your TV). You can try the DVD authoring program DVD Flick here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/dvdflick/
  10. Now on DownloadSquad: http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009/11/03/ma...sused-by-iobit/
  11. I usually never post here, but I hope you guys follow through and make them pay for their crime.
  12. I had that once. I had to reformat my computer. It disabled Task Manager and didn't allow programs to run. If you figure out a way to get rid of it without reformatting, please tell.
