  1. I found myself smiling and nodding at about 90% of those.
  2. I think Fry's Electronics has a decent solution to solve this problem: keep small and expensive items (RAM, hard drives, etc.) in a "cage" behind the register.
  3. I remember there being a thread about a Malwarebytes baseball cap. Let's see that again
  4. I don't think MSE would work in 98, due to the fact that you need WGA to install and update the program.
  5. I assume that if you don't have the Java Runtime Environment installed on your computer, you can't be exploited by malicious Java applets. And I personally hate viewing websites that like to have a Java applet that could have easily been written in AJAX or Flash.
  6. Little bit off topic, but the "leaf" avatar is one of the default options in Invision Power Board; the software for both forums.

I've been using Tinypic for a while for images, but their CAPTCHA system was always in the way. This one is nice!
  8. If you guys could port the IP Block module, that would be enough for Linux.
  9. It appears that 174.132.189.62 hosts around 150 websites, and some of them might be malicious.
  10. Just got an email from Microcenter, it's out for delivery and should be here next week......
  11. No matter, Microcenter had 3 in stock, got mine, will post pictures when I get it
  12. I was about to ask that Any other planned retailers?
  13. The blue "M" is the corporate logo, the red "M" is the software logo.
  14. When I run into some money, I'll get a physical copy.
  15. It'll be standard when every motherboard has USB 3.0 onboard. Currently, only the newest motherboards have it, so wait about 2 to 3 years for full adoption.
  16. I've used scissors, knives, razor blades, pliers, tin snips, and wire cutters, and there's no way to open plastic packaging without destroying the package!
  17. Appears to be a C&C program.
  18. If that lousy "Cap and Trade" tax passed, we'd be screwed
  19. Technically, autorun.inf viruses only spread through removable devices on local machines. However, there are plenty of other worms and stuff spreading over LAN.
  20. I actually made a mini-series on the history of Windows during the past month. There's at least an hour of stuff to watch.
  21. My dad bought a Packard Bell + Monitor in 1996 for about $3000. Can't remember the processor, but it had 4mb RAM, and a 1.8GB Hard Drive. It weighed more than me, and it never had any problems. Eventually it got old, and my dad threw it away. I still have the 13" CRT monitor, and it's the best monitor I've had. No burns or "purple-spots"
  22. Appears that you are using a cracked version of Malwarebytes' Antimalware. I would suggest uninstalling what you have and install a legitimate version from here, or buy a legit copy.
