  1. Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delay of my own. The updating seems to have resolved itself - I do not know what had changed. The computer that it was installed on does not get much use, so maybe the issue was on Malwarebytes' end? Regarding NIS, I believe that may not be the issue, I've actually had this same issue a while ago on a fresh install of Windows 7 when MalwareBytes was the only anti-whatever software installed.
  2. Hi there. I've been having issues updating - attached is a screenshot of the error message. Here's some background information: I've followed part of the pinned instructions for update issues, doing a clean reinstallation of the program, but it's still a no-go. I use Norton Internet Security 2012. I've checked its logs and it doesn't seem that it is blocking MalwareBytes' update service. I first noticed the problem around the 17th. MalwareBytes usually updates automatically but I had to attempt a manual update after receiving a message staying that MalwareBytes has not updated for a day, and that is when I first got the error message. I've ran scans using NIS and MalwareBytes but both came up clean. The computer hasn't been used for approximately a week so I do not think that an infection is likely - the autoupdates have also been working prior to the 17th as well. I'm running Windows 7 x64 and MalwareBytes is at version 1.61.1400. I'd greatly appreciate any assistance with this.
