  1. I uninstalled Mbam. Removed all signs from registry. Uninstalled my av and firewall. Got Mbam from downloads.com and ran the installer and when it updated it's self got this error on first run. An error has occurred. Please report this error code to our support team. MBAM_ERROR_UPDATING (12150,0, WinHttpQueryHeaders) I tried manually downloading the new def's but no good. OS Name Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Version 6.1.7600 Build 7600 Other OS Description Not Available OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Manufacturer Hewlett-Packard System Model MCP67 System Type x64-based PC Processor AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-57, 1900 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s) Locale United States Hardware Abstraction Layer Version = "6.1.7600.16385" Total Physical Memory 3.87 GB Available Physical Memory 2.94 GB Total Virtual Memory 7.75 GB Available Virtual Memory 6.78 GB Page File Space 3.87 GB msinfo32.txt msinfo32.txt
  2. When i run the mbam clean up i get: SHGetValue failed with error code 126
  3. I am getting the error to here are my logs. DDS.txt Attach.txt
  4. When I have IP Protection on the movies I stream from Netflix is very choppy, but when I turn off IP Protection the Netflix movies will play just fine. If anyone else has Malwarebytes and has a issue with streaming movies from Netflix turn off your IP Protection at lease until you are done watching your movie(s).
  5. well i mostly do quick scans so unless if i did a full scan i dont think it would be hit.
  6. 64.202.289.170 which is sdc123.com is still blocked i just updated my mbam and tried to goto the site and still blocks it. sdc123.com is a redirect site that will take you to www.support.com/connect
  7. Its one of DNS that support.com uses try sdc123.com or https://www.support.com/connect with mbams ip protection active it will block the site sorry i wasn't totally clear I should had said its one of the sites used by support.com for their service.
  8. It's not from a scan per-say its the active protection I think because when I start up Yahoo it will come up with that being an infected .dll
  9. this is for support.com and is being blocked by mbam
  10. Mbam is finding one of Yahoo messengers .dll's as a risk. c:program file (x86)\yahoo!\messenger\yml.dll I am using Yahoo! Messenger for Windows 10.0.0.525 Beta. I attached the .dll so you could check it out and see why mbam is tagging it as malware. I have scanned this file several times with different av's and they all show it clean. Yml.zip
  11. two things could cause this 1) your html web site files were infected when you uploaded them to your ftp server 2) if you have banner ad's one of them could be infected check your website files you can also contact your hosting company and let them know and they should be able to assist you further.
  12. yup and in a perfect world windows would not get any viruses lol when i work on some systems they are just so infected that safe mode is the only option period. like i said dont know if its just a design flaw or issue but seems like it is something that should be looked at and considered and fixed. some systems i work on are so infected that even when mbam says it is clean it will still not boot in to normal mode because there is something that just keeps reinfecting the system and brings it to it's knees. this is just a suggestion and something that maybe mbam might want to look in to as a possible product update/feature.
  13. Have you tried booting your system in to safe mode ? you can also try selective start up in msconfig. usually in one of these to modes enough of the virus or malware is disabled that you can run mbam to get rid of some of the infections. Another great tool you can try is stinger http://vil.nai.com/vil/stinger/ just download it and run it in the heuristics set it to very high before you do a scan you will get false positives but it again might free up your system just enough so that you can use mbam or nod32 to get rid of your nasties.
  14. I have found that infected systems that will only boot in to safe mode (or have msconfig set to selective start up) when mbam scans the system will find and remove infections, but when the system is rebooted in to normal mode and scanned again even more infections will be found. I have tested many systems and ran several scans in safe mode until mbam will say system is clean, then when the system rebooted in to normal mode and scanned again even more infections are found and removed. Not sure why this should be, is there a way of fixing this and maybe putting it in to the next version of mbam?
  15. ya i guess but if there was something like that then do the registry then rescan and get the files and then maybe bypass that error?
