  1. Hi. I'm new here and new to viruses (lucky, I guess). About 2 weeks ago my husband used my computer and got on a P2P network and since then I started having OS problems (those blue screen errors).but scans couldn't find anything wrong. (running Trend Micro Security Pro) It once showed it was infected with HAVOC---I wrote it down but now I can't find the note---anyway---Trend Micro said it couldn't fix it. I used my husband's computer to change all my passwords because when I tried to log into online banking from home (before all of this happened), I kept getting the wrong login screen. Explorer would crash a couple of times a day and I could burn backups to DVDs but they all showed error screens at the end of the burns. When I downloaded Malwarebytes and did a full scan last night (it took 5 hours and 14 minutes), it showed 169 files infected, all of them font zip files, none of which had been downloaded within the last few months. I didn't even think about deleting the zip files when I downloaded the fonts. I do a lot of digital scrapbooking and I always delete the zip files from those downloads. Malwarebytes deleted the zip files. I rebooted. I checked my login into my bank account. I didn't log in but it certainly looked secure. Can it really be that simple? The log said that no memory processes were infected, no memory modules were infected, no registry keys were infected, no registry data items, and no folders were infected. Is it really as simple as this? I still am amazed. Any suggestions? Thanks so much for any help or suggestions anyone can give.
