  1. Currently using the firefox browser I am trying to contact customer support on poshmark.com, but when I click on the tab I get redirected to google search and a warning Malwarebytes PUP pops up (the PUP says quizthrills.com). I checked my google chrome extensions and saw nothing.... Malwarebytes Premier and AdwCleaner find nothing. Any advice would be great
  2. What good is creating a detection after the fact? It's a bit late after someone's system and personal data has been compromised.
  3. I have Malwarebytes Premium 3.2.2.2018 installed on my PC and I am wondering how it became infected with a Trojan virus called Trojan.Floxif and why Malwarebytes didn't detect it? I understand it is from downloading the legit version of CCleaner, but surely Malwarebytes should have detected it before it could infect my computer?
  4. Can anyone give me some recommendations for a decent anti-virus program for my PC that is also compatible with Malwarebytes 3.0. Thanks!
  5. Thank you for your help. Everything is re-installed and working!
  6. Hi all, I am looking for thoughts/opinions/suggestions/advice in regards to protecting my desktop PC (I know my way around a PC but am in way an advanced user :-). I am currently using Firefox as a web-browser and have Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Home Premium, McAfee Live Safe full version(which came with PC purchase) and SUPERAntiSpyware Pro. Do I have too much going on here? Are there better programs available? What types of protection should I be looking for if my PC is used for operating an ecommerce site on shopify.com, online banking, bill paying, email etc....I was looking at Norton by Symantec but I really don't know what I need or if I need to change anything ....Any tips or advice would be great! Also are registry cleaners any good? I have the free version of CCleaner. Cheers!
  7. Hi, thanks for the info Does the Malwarebytes on my computer have an 'uninstall' feature or is there a special procedure?
  8. Hi all, just a quick question (I am not computer savvy). I cannot locate my password for settings etc..from what I understand I must perform a 'clean install' but I have a couple of questions before hand. I think my computer is already infected. 1.How would re-installing Malwarebytes onto an infected computer work (if I reinstalled Malwarebytes would the virus/s infect Malwarebytes?) 2.I wrote my product Identifier number down along with the License key but I cannot find the email from Malwarebytes from when I purchased the product. Would I have to click on a link in the original email to activate the product (I can't remember if that's what I had to do seeing I don't have their email notification anymore) or can I simply use my info that I wrote down? Thank you in advance for any answers given.
  9. Thanks for replying so fast, and I aplogize for posting this in wrong thread. I read that 'Win32.Downloader.gen' was a virus....this particular one keeps appearing after deletion.
  10. I have Malwarebytes Pro and Spybot - Spybot detected the viruses. Malwarebytes didnt. I am just wondering why Malwarebytes didnt detect anything. Spybot detection was : *Toolbar.snap.do *Wajam *Win32.Downloader.gen *AirAdInstaller
