  1. Dear support, I am having trouble with the manual update. I know it has been asked before, but probably I am too stupid to get it, so I need to ask again. I installed the latest version of Malwarebytes (1.60.1.1000), and then downloaded the latest "rules" as described here: http://techdows.com/...ml#comment-6316 Now comes the part, where we need to go slow... I copied the rules.912022001.ref file to the folder C:/program data/malwarebytes , which is where the old rules.ref file is, and then I deleted the old rules.ref file, and changed the new one such that the version number 9120.... is gone, and it is just rules.ref . Correct? Now it doesn't work ("database not found or corrupt"). The FAQ now says: "Starting with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60, you must also copy the file database.conf located within the Configuration folder which is in the same folder as rules.ref listed above." So now the second question, very slowly: where do I get the "database.conf" from? Where should I copy it and where should I paste it? Is there a later "database.conf" on the internet that I can download, just as the "rules" file? Again, I am sorry if that is completely moronic what I asking here.
