  1. Bottom Line Up Front: I'm looking for the correct configuration settings which will download and install the daily database updates without user intervention or notification. Ideally,it should also nag me about available program (application executable) updates, or even install without user intervention as well. I'm running the pro version. I've read the online help, FAQ's and I'm still unsure of a couple points. Specifically, setting up automatic "Program Updates" and automatic "Database Updates". Perhaps it's just a misunderstanding of the terminology. Any help is appreciated. Under the "Settings->Updater Settings" I have the following check-box options available: 1. Download and install program updates if available. 2. Notify me when a program update is ready for installation. Separately, the "Protections" tab refers to the "Database" current status. Therefore, I interpret "Program Updates" to be the application only, and the "Database" status to be the status of daily updates. Is the following correct?: A. If #1 and #2 are checked: Then program updates (application executables only) will be downloaded. However, since #2 is also checked then the updated executable application will not be installed until after notification, and user intervention approves. B. If #1 is checked, and #2 is not checked: Then program updates (application executables only) will be downloaded and installed without user intervention. C. Automatic database updates are established only through the scheduling option. Note: The online Help shows a screen shot for the "Settings->Updater Settings", but it does not match the current version and omits the "Notify me when a program update is ready for installation" function and explanation. Thanks for any help .
