Hello,
Yes, this is normal, however as long as the setting Start Malwarebytes ANti-Malware with Windows is disabled, the services will not start on boot. If they do, it's a bug.
The MBAMScheduler service starts on boot.
Cheers.

@puff_m_d
I know it is a known issue (proxy).
My questions are about:
*- The modification of the start type (Manual to Automatic) for the 2 services
*- The notification that the database is "Up-to-date" (it is 8 months old)
@SheikhMansoor
I don't need a real time protection with an obsolete database.
I can't update as I use a local proxy.
-
Hello,
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware doesn't yet manage my local proxy.
1/ As I can't update Malwarebytes Anti-Malware's database, I set the 2 services to "Manual" start type.
And I've unchecked "Start with Windows".
Each time I launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, those 2 services are set back to "Automatic" start type.
So I need to modify them once more.
Is that a "normal" behaviour?
2/ Malwarebytes Anti-Malware is still saying that my database is up-to-date (version is: 2013.06.10.06)
If Malwarebytes Anti-Malware can't access the update server, the message should not be "Uptodate" () but "Unknown".
Cheers.

Hello Cecilia,
It's the "Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" which appears in the context menu when you right-click a file.
Same problem in french: it's not "translatable".
Cheers.

Who doesn't know it's 1.60 Beta
I know it's 1.60 beta.
But I also know it's Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, not Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
The apostrophe (') has been removed

Hi,
It's Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60 beta.
(look at the title of the topic)
Cheers.

Hello,
Hello,
Why didn't you submit this translation to the translators of MBAM?
Cheers.
What Whiteshark said for the italian translation can be used for the french translation:
There are many typos, non-senses, errors and inconsistences.
Hard to write here a "step-by-step" correction, IMNSHO the whole thing should be completely reviewed.
What about this thread?
Cheers.

Merci.
