I am glad you were able to resolve the problem but I would like to get some information from your computer to see if we can recreate the problem. Please run this tool, Please Download OTL to your Desktop: To Use OTL: Get OTL From http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/files/file/398-otl-oldtimers-list-it/ Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted. OTL should now start. Change the following settings Change Drivers to All Change Standard Registry to All Under File Scans, change File age to 30 Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long. When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt (first run only). These are saved in the same location as OTL. Please attach these 2 files in your next reply. Thank you.

I have been testing your issue and I have not come up with any problems so far as being able to get on to my calender after having Malwarebytes run a schedule scan. Can you please run this tool. Since you have the free version of Malwarebytes there is no ability for Malwarebytes to block your programs from accessing the internet. The free version of Malwarebytes is just a scanner. What other security software do you have on your computer that has a firewall?

  19. Hello SF Shoim I installed Meebo to see how it works and how to disable or uninstall the add on. So I was able to install and get the toolbar at the bottom of my Firefox and then afterwords I uninstalled the toolbar through Add ons >> Extensions and then click remove. Then I needed to restart Firefox.

I have not heard of Malwarebytes blocking installation of software without a Windows appearing stating the program could be dangerous and giving you the option to remove, ignore or disable the protection module. If you could include your protection module log in your next reply at the time you were installing the games it will show if Malwarebytes was detecting the games or not.
  24. Hello Michelle and Welcome to the Malwarebytes forum. When dealing with PUP these are not necessarily a threat as it could be just an unwanted program from another installer or it could be a program that you install like you said earlier. The reason Malwarebytes is picking up the PUP now is probably because there are remnants of the software that is still on your computer. This is not uncommon as most software when uninstalled is not completely uninstalled unless they have that selection in the uninstaller to do so or another program that completely uninstalls everything. Could you please paste a copy of your scan on here for me to look at so I can see exactly what Malwarebytes is detected.
