  2. Hello Everyone, In regards to this detection it is a false positive. We have updating our database and this should not happen anymore. Make sure to update your database on your phone and check to see if you are still seeing this.

Since you have the free version of Malwarebytes there is no ability for Malwarebytes to block your programs from accessing the internet. The free version of Malwarebytes is just a scanner. What other security software do you have on your computer that has a firewall?

  19. Hello SF Shoim I installed Meebo to see how it works and how to disable or uninstall the add on. So I was able to install and get the toolbar at the bottom of my Firefox and then afterwords I uninstalled the toolbar through Add ons >> Extensions and then click remove. Then I needed to restart Firefox.

I have not heard of Malwarebytes blocking installation of software without a Windows appearing stating the program could be dangerous and giving you the option to remove, ignore or disable the protection module. If you could include your protection module log in your next reply at the time you were installing the games it will show if Malwarebytes was detecting the games or not.

When dealing with PUP these are not necessarily a threat as it could be just an unwanted program from another installer or it could be a program that you install like you said earlier. The reason Malwarebytes is picking up the PUP now is probably because there are remnants of the software that is still on your computer. This is not uncommon as most software when uninstalled is not completely uninstalled unless they have that selection in the uninstaller to do so or another program that completely uninstalls everything.
