  1. OK, I see. By the way, which tool is most appropriate for clean removal of v1.75
  2. Yes, I know, and my post was an answer, or a question to the answer posted by you.
  3. It would really be very helpful to know when exactly you will stop to send updates, to plan the future migration to a higher (present) version, or another safety solution, please.
  4. Are there any plans to develop MBAM also as a, say, typical antivirus program (not only anti-malware one)?
  5. you know, I simply like WinXP, it's still sufficient for my needs, but of course I will eventually buy a new hardware with Win7. Merry Christmas to everyone!
  6. thank you very much! that's what I wanted to know Great link, BTW. Malwarebytes still supports v1.75, at least with the malware database updates, but nobody knows how long it will be continued.
  7. sorry, that one: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/144799-introducing-malwarebytes-anti-malware-20/?p=938973
  8. thank you for your reply! I posted my question here because of the above message about supporting v1.75 https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/144799-introducing-malwarebytes-anti-malware-20/?p=93897
  9. Does anybody have any experience regarding comparison of the current version of MBAM vs. v1.75? I mean CPU and RAM usage and overall performance, especially for older systems (Windows XP).
  10. those IPs are somehow connected with the Firefox add-on SpeedFox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/speedfox/?src=search after switching off, the problem disappeared
  11. IP = 8.34.112.226-227, a very annoying possible false positive please verify; thank you!
  12. OK, thank you, very reasonable.
  13. Auto update was successful. However, the Logs tab in GUI is empty (I think it was already reported by someone),
  14. Thank you! I like to wait for an auto update, because it's always already checked by much more users than the early version to download, so possible bugs are fixed/corrected.
  15. No automatic update so far, still waiting. Is it OK?
  16. I like this version very much too, but it will be supported until March 2015 only, or so: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/124878-malwarebytes-anti-malware-175-released/?p=837817 I'd would like to know the exact date, please.
  17. Could you please tell me when exactly you will stop supporting MBAM 1.75?
  18. Yes, the same thing happened to me, at least for the previous stable version (1.04); for the current one I haven't enough time to observe this. My OS is Windows XP SP3 Home.
  19. Thank you! Does it make any sense to add 'Run a DLL as an App', that is rundll32.exe, to the custom shields? The same for 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer' shimgvw.dll and 'MS Paint' mspaint.exe? When you quite often download files to be viewed using those programs?
  20. BTW, which profile we should choose for Open Office: 'office' or 'other'?
  21. So, if you change the format of the dat file, can the old-version 'applications.dat' file be used safely (without causing instabilities, or so) in the new version of MBAE?
