    Answer

    Yes. Using two or more antivirus programs can cause problems and the operating system may become unstable. For many products there is uninstall utility available on vendor's website.

  5. okay that's cool, still need help figuring out the problem with it not auto loading, nor showing in the security area of windows 7 action center.

    I am using Windows 7 64bit and MalwareBytes Anti-Malware (MBAM) does not show in Windows 7 Action Center because it only reports on anti virus protection, Network Firewall, UAC mode and Windows Update status.
