  2. @ yardbird I do not run Windows Defender on my XP Pro system. I too have no Malwarebytes exclusions in WD!... I do make sure its definitions are updated through its portal: Latest definition version: 1.93.855.0 Windows Defender definitions

  9. I'm using Google Chrome v7.0.517.43 on my XP Pro system and really liking it. I have AdBlock, FastestChrome - Browse Faster (FastestFox for Chrome) extensions and Star Gazer Theme. Will now look at Speed Dial Edit: Speed Dial is very good. The Spell-Checker is an added bonus as I had to use ieSpell Internet Explorer browser extension.

  14. First you need 2 licences but you can get volume discounts I believe. I would investigate system layerd protection by the use of a good HOSTS file and a HOSTS file manager like HostsMan. I use hpHosts and MVPS HOSTS files and they block much bad stuff.   15. I make my UAC quite bearble by having it set to Only notify me when programs try to make changes to my computer (do not dim my desktop)
