Although a VPN is supposed to protect all data that a user transmits, our attacks can bypass the protection of a VPN. For instance, an adversary can abuse our vulnerabilities to leak and read user traffic, steal user information, or attack user devices. Our tests indicate that every VPN product is vulnerable on at least one device. Its a scam. just delete it. I got one about 2 weeks ago, very easy to figure out its a scam as we don't have CVS in Canada.

@1PW: - Regular updates of the database. - Possible extra features to protect the users against these adwares. - Possible blocking or immunising a computer of sending telemetry by browsers and (other) software.

Personally I find AdwCleaner fine as it is. Just like hardware and software drivers, there is no need to update them unless there is a new security vulnerability(except maybe graphics drivers for gamers, but not non-gamers).
