  3. Hello, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've reviewed the site again and have determined it no longer warrants being blocked so we've removed it from our database. Removal should be reflected in the next database update going out in a few hours or so.

  6. To move your license from one device to another you should first deactivate your license key on the existing device as described in this support article then you may activate the software on your new device. I would also suggest signing up for an account at My.Malwarebytes.com if you haven't done so already. Instructions on doing so can be found in this support article. Once you're signed up you will be able to manage your Malwarebytes product licenses from any computer using a web browser and you'll be able to see the status of each license and the device(s) they are active on. I hope this helps and if there is anything else we might assist you with please let us know. Thanks

  9. If it is a Wireless Mouse, auto movement may be due to a nearby user with another Wireless Mouse on the same channel. If it is a wired mouse, it may be due to the tension on the USB cable causing the mouse to physically move.

  11. Hi, Our engine format and configuration in VirusTotal is different than our consumer and corporate products’ default configuration. In VirusTotal we use a command-line engine with different configuration and detection techniques/heuristics which might detect more than the commercial product. There are also false-positive suppression mechanisms in the commercial product which are not present in the command-line engine in VirusTotal. This file has been whitelisted for our commercial products already and it is not detected anymore. This will eventually fix itself in Virustotal as well, as we don't have control over this.

  12. I've experienced this with many wired gaming mice. The most typical cause was due to tension on the cord causing the mouse to drift slightly; almost imperceptibly, but enough for it to register as movement in Windows. The extra slick pads on the bottom of gaming mice make this far more likely. I actually use a vertical mouse now, and turn it on its side so that the optical sensor can't reflect off any surface to prevent unwanted movement during video streaming and when gaming with a controller to prevent this from happening. You can perform a test by placing a coin or some other object underneath one side of the mouse or even directly under the optical sensor in the center to physically prevent it from being able to move, then test to see if the issue still occurs. If it does, then it must be a software/driver/OS issue, and if it does not, then it must be that the mouse is shifting slightly when not being used.

  13. Wired or wireless mouse? Does it happen if you use a different mouse? I've seen old mouses start to 'drift' on their own when their onboard chips are going faulty, jumping could be a similar fault especially if it's only on one axis.

  17. The UMX phones from Assurance (mine too) have had viruses on and off for the past couple years that are usually factory installed in system apps that can be disabled but not removed. If you disable, you will lose functionality of that part of the system which may or may not be an issue. Several times UMX cleared the viruses off the phones with an update, but after a few months a new virus appeared. I had the g21news.com virus in Dec/Jan, but then an update took it away so it seems that my phone has been virus free for the past few months. If you get a new phone or do a factory reset the phone will update, but it may be several updates behind so you may have to go through the update process to manually check for updates and let them install two or three times until it says that you have the most current version. I think you may need to get to the most current update and then your phone will be virus free at least for now. We've been working on the UMX U693CL viruses in this thread:

  18. This site is viral in the social engineering use of that word. When there is a complaint, I must be able to reproduce it in order to know if there is truly an issue. I must have watched at least 30 panoramas - most because I forgot why I was there! Your site is fascinating. I enjoyed it very much. I also found out what the problem was (audio which launches automatically as a byproduct of a user-selected video launch). It has been whitelisted. Please allow 15-30 minutes for changes to take effect. I LOVE THE WEBSITE!
