  4. Windows 10 got build 20236 today and it broke Internet connection on 2 PC's. Rolled back to 20231 and it was fine. Upgraded to 20236 again and was broken, but this time gave me a tcpip.sys GSOD error. Searched for fixes and 1 of them was Antivirus. Opened Malwarebytes and turned off Protections and Internet came back. I narrowed it down to Web Protection only has to be off.

  5. I just recently did a fresh install of Malwarebytes and was happy to see that during the installation of the program it recommended for browser-guard to be installed as well before it only asked you after the install. This was a great idea now more people will be using browser guard to strengthen protection all is running well for me. πŸ˜€

  7. I can understand why some would be upset but in my point of view as long as it has to do about the users security that is fine. Avast never should have went down the road with scare-tactics and useless cleaners this is why i left them awhile ago not to mention the data mining.

  10. Understood, thanks. The issue with Defender is odd. I use Defender myself and haven't had any trouble with it and the latest release of Malwarebytes.

  12. Hello, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We've reviewed the site again and have determined it no longer warrants being blocked so we've removed it from our database. Removal should be reflected in the next database update going out in a few hours or so.

  13. Sure thing, the block will be reviewed. If the redirect has been cleaned, we will remove the block. Have a nice day!

  14. That is a Heuristic detection. Which simply means that it is a "guess" from AI automation that the file, memory, or object is potentially a threat. Microsoft themselves do not even list what the program it found is as it's generic and very likely even a possible False Positive https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/threats/malware-encyclopedia-description?Name=Misleading:Win32/Lodi!MSR&ThreatID=260123

  16. Hi Billy. Look on the Downloads folder. There is where the FRST64.exe is saved ( from before). The FIXLIST.txt should be saved to the same folder, in order for the custom fix to work. Look for FIXLIST there. If you do not see it there, do a new download and get the file to the Downloads folder. Then do the procedure outlined before.
