  5. For the second time, all 4 protection modes in Malwarebytes 4 were suddenly disabled. My system was frozen for a minute or so. I did full scans (MB and Defender). I used the Support Tool to collect the logs and also attached a screenshot of an error logged by Windows. I hope the data will reveal the cause..... mbst-grab-results.zip
  6. I ripped out KIS 2020 yesterday at the request of a MB support technician for another issue that relates to the MB support tool and it did not change anything. The problem still presists. It took me a couple of hours to get KIS 2020 re-installed and functioning properly again because MBAM had to be removed before KIS would re-installed. I don't have time today to go through all that again. My opinion is that it would not change anything because this is happening on all my systems.

Hello, Please gather logs with the Malwarebytes Support Tool and attach the generated file: https://support.malwarebytes.com/docs/DOC-2396 Are you able to identify if a Real-Time Protection component in Malwarebytes is responsible? If you disable all 4 components, does the issue disappear? What happens when you re-enable them one-by-one?

  16. Hello, Please download the attached Fixlist.txt file to the same folder where the Farbar tool is running from. The location is listed in the 3rd line of the FRST.txt log you have submitted. Run FRST and click Fix only once and wait. The Computer will restart when the fix is completed.   18. Experiencing the same issue on WIndows Server 2016 Essentials. Disabling Web Protection has resolved it. Is there an ETA to a fix so Web Protection can be re-enabled?
  19. The latest version of Kaspersky is known to have problems with Malwarebytes. You might want to enable BETA updates as well in Malwarebytes and do a manual check for updates afterward. You have 2 choices. 1-Revert to Version 19 of Kaspersky. 2-Go thru a lot of exclusion and adjustments to both MB and Kaspersky to get them to work together until Kaspersky and MB find and fixes the issue. If you revert to Version 19 of Kaspersky, Kaspersky Version 19 can co-exist with Malwarebytes 4 Premium. Here is what to do once one has Kaspersky 19 in place. The way to manage the Kaspersky (future ) upgrade is this: Start Kaspersky. Click Settings icon. Click on "Additional" from the list. Click "Update". Tick ( select / click ) the 2nd line which is "Do not download new version automatically and do not notify me when they are available" Apply the adjustment. Close the window. Please advise on the route you wish to take.
  20. It is non-malware back then and as you said a (PUP) Potentially Unwanted Programs now. You are welcome to whitelist the detection if you wish or turn off PUP detection entirely.
