  2. Well I'm using google chrome and windows 10, is that enough info?
  3. Another note: In regards to the link attached for saving my passwords (https://betanews.com/2018/03/09/export-chrome-passwords/) there is no password export option although there is a sync and an import option though I am unsure if the sync is the newer version to the export version.
  4. This sub-forum is for submitting web sites that are falsely blocked by Malwarebytes or are perceived to be falsely blocked. If it is malicious site and you need help in cleaning the system so the system no longer connects to the malicious site, you have to identify what software you are using and on what OS. Then this thread can be moved to the appropriate Malware Removal sub-forum.
  5. This site has been cleaned and is ready to be reviewed. Thanks.

  7. Yea, thanks exile, i think the other one is networx maybe is causing the problem but, anyway, i cant have malwarebytes always going against the things i use, and you cant even add to white list im really sad too to let go, since i have been using it for so long, but i decided to give a rest for 1 year, then i will install it again next year hopefully everything can work out, maybe should bring up this issue, see if there is a better way to do it, and not just break off the connection with server and cant even activate your license.
  8. Can someone please tell me what this is and how I can remove it???
  9. In the meanwhile I have removed the exe from the windows folder and removed the tasks, however I believe there are still traces left
  10. OK, please create a fresh set of logs and post them so I can take a look, I'm sure we can get this sorted out: Run the Malwarebytes Support Tool Accept the EULA and click Advanced tab on the left (not Start Repair) Click the Gather Logs button, and once it completes, attach the zip file it creates on your desktop to your next reply Thanks
  11. A friend of mine installed an infected Kms activator that has R@1 snagged on resulting in less then desired operation, was wondering if anyone could help me with a fixlist.txt from the results of the farbar scan. Thanks in advanced. FRST.txt
  12. Hi Exile i have already uninstalled that one before i came here for help, it seems thats not the problem or not the ONLY one causing the problem
  13. Yesterday
  14. I would also like to read the details on how you reached the conclusion that these those log entries were kernel errors and how you traced them to PIA/Malwarebytes interactions.
  15. Hello @Brannon and In your next reply to this topic, please let the forum know: The full version number of the Operating System. (Apple icon -> About This Mac) The full model identifier of the Mac. (Apple icon -> About This Mac -> Select System Report... -> Model Identifier) The version number of the PIA application in use. (Launch PIA -> Select the PIA icon -> Select the three (3) vertical dots in the PIA GUI -> Select Settings) Full Malwarebytes version number. (Malwarebytes GUI -> Malwarebytes -> About Malwarebytes -> Version information) Thank you.
  16. Sorry for the long delay. I started to change my passwords and whoever has been accessing my account is trying to react to them. For some reason they keep trying to get into my twitch so I'm not sure if they're trying to make a link or what, but my two factor is going off like every 2-3 minutes at the moment of this response. I'll get right on that redownload now. Thanks for your patience.
  17. Fixed in: MBAM2 Version: v2019.05.26.07 MBAM3 Version: 1.0.10782
  18. Thanks for the information. It is a false positive and I'm working on removing the rule from the database.
  19. I should add, I was able clear the Delayshred key in regedit, it just didn't get rid of the malware problems.
  20. So, I went into regedit to see if zeroing the value of that string manually would work. It didn't, but I noticed two other suspicious looking entries there: gwdkw and hnehyw. A quick google search shows these are virus related. Any ideas? Thank you so much for your time and advice so far!
  21. so i just turned this laptop online after a year of inactivity and no detections to see this. 22. I have reacently noticed that my pc, after a fiew minutes of inactivity or just not using my m/kb (so when using a seperate controller eg xbox360 or rift) my GPU would spike to 100% when it usualy rins at 70-80% and would drop back down after i moved my mouse. I tried to look into this and scaned my pc, found SOME malware that was supposedly using my GUP for mining but the problem did not stop. I had task manager left open to see what process was causing this much usage and updatedg.exe poped up around 5 mins later and dissapeared as soon as i moved my mouse, could not find it in details either. I did find it in my registry under "DiagnosedApplications" and removed it however it came back after a reboot but i could not find it in the Registry Editor again. i tried using Rkill however this program was not found by Malwarebytes in the first place so i was not suprised that 1. it did not locate the file 2: after the reboot the file was back. I would like to find the root of this problem as soon as it is posible wuthout reinstalling windows. Thanks

  24. Okay then, glad to hear you were able to get it resolved. I'll close your topic and leave with some information to help you keep the system clean going forward. Let's get real. If you're not backing up your data and you're still using Google Chrome then you're just not serious about Privacy, Safety, and protecting your data. Malwarebytes is a fantastic program but you still need to back up your data and you still need to block scripts and Ads in your browser. If you're still using Google Chrome I would highly suggest you consider using Firefox instead. For more advanced users you might consider installing NoScript as well (it does have a higher learning curve though) Help Secure your browsers Please install uBlock Origin for your browsers to better protect your system FireFox, Chrome, Opera , Safari, Microsoft Edge AdBlock for Internet Explorer How to use uBlock Origin to protect your online privacy and security | uBlock Origin tutorial 2018 This video tutorial above explains how to use uBlock Origin in advanced user mode and all the advanced settings to protect your online privacy and help prevent unwanted sites from changing your browser settings Follow-up Reading Everything you need to know about cybercrime 10 easy ways to prevent malware infection Keep your data backed up Thank you for choosing Malwarebytes and tell your friends and family too. 25. Hello. My machine was working fine using until I installed Malwarebytes. After I installed your software I noticed my machine slowing down system wide and internet connection would slow significantly or completely stop for a couple minutes. I took a look at my console and it was reporting a steady kernel error "compat_ifmu_ulist: en4 copyin() error 14". After digging troubleshooting a while I found the error source was something between PIA and Malwarebytes. I looked for a way to exclude specific software from Malwarebytes but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing this on a Mac. On windows you can. Please don't tell me that I'm going to have to choose one or the other... Can you please help with this?
  26. No problem with 1903 x4.. Had problem not caused by Malwarebytes, could not install it. Tried all normal ways. Copied the ISO to a folder on the HDD and got it installed. First time problem with upgrades.
