report from Norton. shows mbamservice continuously trying to hit on norton C:\Program Files\Norton Security Suite\Engine\20.5.0.28\ccsvchst.exe

these warnings repeat every minute or so in the Norton logs.

Is this normal?

otherwise program seems to be running ok.
I also have noticed, since installing version 2, that IE9 will progressively get slower until webpages simply will not load and you need to restart IE9 to restore performance.

Does all this sound related?

tried re installing and that did not change things. is clean install next path?

thanks for your help.

Hello kabelectro and :welcome:

Please try adding the directory where the Norton software is installed, to exclusions in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

https://www.malwarebytes.org/support/guides/mbam/ Settings > Malware Exclusions > Add Folder

You may also wish to add file exclusions of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware executables in the Norton product too.

If given exact operating system and Norton product specifications, we could provide specific exclusion pathnames.

Please let us know if that solves your issue in a reply to this thread.

Thank you.
