  7. I just updated to 4.2.2. Then I got a pop-up that said Restart Now, or Restart Automatically in 10 minutes - save any files. Not other options. No way to close the pop-up. I wasn't able to get everything cleaned up before the restart happened automatically. Bad, bad, bad. There should be an option to delay a restart. Give the user a choice. ARGH!!!

  10. Using Version 4.2.2.95 Component package 1.0.1096 I have found that my NAS that is discovered by WSD is showing consistently in Windows Network. My second (older) NAS and Raspberry Pi's that are discovered by NetBIOS initially show up, but disappear after a certain time (many minutes). They can still be accessed, just not discovered in Windows Network. Disabling Web Protection immediately allows NetBIOS discovery computers to be seen.   11. Under Exploit Protection, the option to block penetration testing attacks had already been disabled, yet the Office problem had remained. I also restored default settings all around yesterday. However, today Malwarebytes had a new update, and it found 20 items to quarantine, rather than the usual 13-15. I created a test Excel file, and I was able to save it. Perhaps it is fixed now.
  12. Hello. Based on the contents of the ransom note ( that you posted before) this ransomware is one of the STOP Djvu. As stated before, Malwarebytes has no decryptor. Depending on whether the ransomware used a Offline key, it 'might' be possible to try using the Emsisoft Decryptor for Stop Djvu. Before you attempt that, do 2 things.   14. Hello, I think I have a malware problem on my computer. Several days ago 29/10/2020 I was playing a game: HITMAN 2 and it run smoothly with no problems as it normally does.   15. I tried looking up 3 different quarantined RTP detections via search box in MWB labs, 2 trojans and one malvertising. Nothing on the trojans, it does find the malvertising. For instance Trojan at alphapanda.com or another Trojan which shows location vast-prod...trick.com. Any suggestions? Happy customer this doesn't get past MWB's!

  17. Hey guys, it's a long shot, but please see if restoring Exploit Protection settings to their defaults helps at all. To do so, open Malwarebytes and go to settings by clicking the small gear icon in the upper right, then select the Security tab and under the Exploit Protection section, make sure the option for blocking penetration testing attacks is set to off, then click the Advanced settings button under the same section and click the Restore Defaults button.
